The Stanley Cigar Bar

Image
This winter in the travels of MySideOfTheBar we stumbled into the Charles P. Stanley Cigar Company and Lounge . It took only one look at the sign on the door to see why we fell in love from the start. This establishment has been around for over a hundred years in one form or another. We had been drinking for several hours when J.P. suggested we try this establishment and I was somewhat concerned as Central Patti and L.P. had been drinking whiskey, something they did not do on a regular base. However, as usual when J.P. makes a suggestion I learned year ago to go with the flow. The Stanley has a nice size walk in humidor along with a full service lounge to enjoy your favorite cocktails. We imbibed and smoked (they carried Kristoff, so bonus) for a couple of hours and had a great time. As you can see by the pictures below the atmosphere was excellent. So if you are in the St. Louis area I can highly recommend the Stanley. Cheers The Professor

(be sure to follow @mysideofthebar on Twitter for some of the recipes) After a few cocktails on the reception area I, as you may exp
