Christmas Gifts for Your Usual Suspects

I am asked this question throughout the entire year and especially around Christmas time so as I did last year here are some Christmas Gift Ideas for the Usual Suspects at Your Side of The Bar

Here I am putting together a Manhattan Gift Basket

Four Roses Bourbon - You can pick this up for around 12.00 USD simply search your local liquor stores or the internet

Carpano Antica Formula Red Vermouth - This is the most expensive item in this basket with an average retail price or 35.00 USD.

Angostura Bitters - Very easy to come by and very inexpensive

Gin and Titonic Ice Cube Molds - These are just cool and you can pick them up  for under 10.00 USD

Madison Avenue Whiskey Glasses - I had to get myself a set of these being a big Mad Men fan, but you can find great deals on glassware all over.

Liquor Flasks - Great as an individual gift idea, however a nice touch to your basket. I have found flasks for as little as a penny on the internet.

Cocktail Napkins - These are always a great addition to any type of gift basket and you can pick them up at every kitchen shop with a variety of witty or racy sayings.

Maraschino Cherries - Just a nice finishing touch to a Manhattan gift basket

So for about 95.00 USD you can put together a nice gift basket, however you can substitute different items to save some money and the individual parts also make some great gifts if you are looking to economize.

Here are a few more ideas:

Four Roses Gift Pack that includes an engraved flask and a bottle of Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon.

McCormick Egg Nog Gift Pack (thanks S. and C. O.)

You can also put together some great little baskets using the small sample bottles. The great thing about this gift is you can fill it with selections that your recipient may not drink on a regular bases to expand their horizons.

One final basket option as I twitted today Build Your Own Gift Basket in three easy steps at World Market.

Well that should be enough to get you started and be sure to follow @mysideofthebar on Twitter for the 25 Days of  Christmas for more gift ideas for your Usual Suspects.
